About Us

The Saguache County Business Association organized several years ago as the Crestone Moffat Business Association. In 2007 the Association recognized that business across the County was contributing to economic growth and the Association name was changed to the Saguache County Business Association (SCBA).

The dedication of the Association is not limited only to the betterment of business, but strives to serve as a bridge between community and business to the benefit of all. We are a registered Colorado non-profit organization with an all-volunteer board of directors. We urge you not only to become a member, but also to become an active participant in making the Association, the community, and your business an even greater success.

OBJECTIVES

  • Promote member businesses located in the area of Saguache County through our website and annual membership guide and map.
  • Promote and cooperate with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to provide small business education workshops to area businesses.
  • Where appropriate, act in partnership with or as an intermediary representing the interests of its members to the local governing bodies.
  • Build and maintain charitable programs to provide scholarships to local educational and recreational programs.

ELIGIBILITY

“Can I still join the association if I don't live or work in the Valley?"

“Absolutely!”

Any individual, association, corporation, partnership, limited liability company, or office of government having an interest in the objectives of the Association shall be eligible to apply for membership upon payment of applicable dues.
